One of the best ways to chart our spiritual progress is when we pass on what we have received to someone else. In this way the cycle begins again. It will be difficult to get "new" disciples without people courageously stepping up into leading other disciples themselves. This is the model of the New Testament: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 Timothy 2:2. A disciple does for others what was done for them.
