Get Connected
No matter where you are in life, there is a place for you here.
Kids
Leading kids to love God. Follow Jesus. Serve others.
Youth
A safe place for teens to develop real relationships.
Our groups are designed to help you experience real community and grow in your faith. We have a variety of groups with different focuses but all aimed at the same purpose. Scripture tells us to make a habit of meeting together and to encourage each other in loving God and neighbor.
Study groups meet throughout the week to dive deeper into biblical content, in the church or even outside the church. Everything from studying the Gospel of John to a book by John Ortberg.
Gathering together around a common interest. Affinity groups do everything from tearing up the pickleball courts, to knitting blankets for newborns, or getting together for exercise.
We all need a little help sometimes, and these groups will help you find just that. Alcoholics Anonymous is one of the support groups that our church hosts. AA meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm. No sign up is required you are welcome to simply attend.
We aim to foster people building relationships together, to help each other grow spiritually. This can be anything from meeting together on Sunday to dive deeper into the sermon for the week, to hosting Men’s and Women’s groups.
Outreach
Demonstrating the love of Jesus to those near and far.

Care Ministries
Our congregational Care Team is committed to walking you through life's events.Weddings
During a wedding ceremony sacred promises are exchanged which reflect God’s sacred covenant with the Church. At First United Methodist a wedding is treated as a worship service. We give thanks to God and celebrate your love for and commitment to each other. Our clergy welcome the opportunity to marry any two people who they Pastor and look forward to working with you to plan your unique ceremony.
Pastoral Care
Our Pastors and trained Care Ministers are available by appointment to meet with individuals, couples, or families to offer not only a listening ear but next steps for further support. We can help put you in touch with mental health clinicians or outside agencies that will help you work through the life challenges that everyone faces.
