First United Methodist Church - 8:15am | 9:30am | 10:45am Westside campus - 10:00am
Here at First United Methodist we offer two styles of worship at two different locations. Different worship styles with different people. If you're looking for a style of worship with familiar hymns, a choir, and shared prayers you will love our traditional services. However, if you're looking for something new, something a bit louder, and more relaxed you'll love our contemporary service. You'll hear the same relevant and bible-based teaching at all of our worship services.
8:15 is a traditional worship service where we sing hymns, say the Apostle's Creed, and have a formal atmosphere. People generally wear casual to business casual dress to this smaller service.
10:45 is our most traditional worship service. Experience reverence and celebration through hymns, choir, instrumental and special music, and the Apostle's Creed. People generally wear casual to business casual dress to this service.
9:30 is a contemporary worship service in our sanctuary where we sing new songs led by a band. Come dressed however you wish to this service as you'll find people wearing suits sitting next to people in jeans or shorts - maybe even jean shorts. This is our largest service and is full of energy with people of all ages coming to this service.
10:00 in Dogwood Elementary is our Westside campus service, a contemporary worship service in a smaller more intimate setting that is driven by the music and lights. Come dressed however you wish to this service as you'll find people wearing suits sitting next to people in jeans or shorts.
